Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: April 27, 2026 These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you” or “Customer”) and Junk Out (“Junk Out,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), operating the website https://getjunkout.com/ (the “Site”) and providing junk removal services. By accessing or using the Site, requesting a quote, booking services, or otherwise engaging with Junk Out, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or our services.
1. Our Services
Junk Out provides residential and commercial junk removal services in Orange County, Riverside County, and Los Angeles County, California. Services include the removal, loading, hauling, and proper disposal or recycling of unwanted items such as furniture, appliances, electronics, yard waste, mattresses, office equipment, and full cleanouts (including foreclosure and estate cleanouts). We also offer dump trailer rental options upon inquiry. We strive to recycle or donate approximately 65% of collected materials and support local charities where possible. All services include lifting, loading, cleanup of the work area, and environmentally responsible disposal. We do not offer storage services. Same-day service may be available with sufficient notice, subject to scheduling availability. We provide no-obligation, on-site estimates. Our “Meet or Beat” policy applies to qualifying written competitor quotes.
2. Quotes, Pricing, and Payment
  • All quotes are free and non-binding until a job is booked and confirmed.
  • Pricing is based on the volume of junk removed (often measured by truck/trailer load) and includes labor, disposal, and recycling fees. Any potential surcharges (e.g., for heavy items, hazardous materials, or difficult access) will be explained before work begins.
  • Payment is due upon completion of service for most residential jobs (cash, check, or credit card accepted). Commercial accounts may have net 15–30 day terms with prior approval.
  • We reserve the right to require a deposit or full prepayment for certain large or complex jobs.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice, but quoted prices are valid for the specified timeframe.
3. Customer Responsibilities and Preparation
You are responsible for:
  • Providing safe and clear access to the items to be removed.
  • Disconnecting and emptying appliances (e.g., refrigerators, washers) and handling any utility lines (water, gas, electric) prior to our arrival — our team does not perform disconnections for safety reasons.
  • Identifying and disclosing any hazardous materials, biohazards, or restricted items (we reserve the right to refuse such items).
  • Ensuring the work area is safe; we may decline service if conditions pose unreasonable risk to our crew.
Failure to prepare items properly may result in additional fees or rescheduling.
4. Scheduling, Cancellations, and Rescheduling
  • Appointments are scheduled based on availability. We will make reasonable efforts to arrive within the agreed window.
  • You may cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice without penalty in most cases. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a cancellation fee.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule due to weather, safety concerns, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances.
5. Limited Warranty and Liability
Junk Out is fully licensed, bonded, and insured (General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, and Auto). We take reasonable care during removal. However:
  • We are not responsible for pre-existing damage to your property.
  • Minor scuffs or marks may occur during normal operations; we are not liable for cosmetic damage.
  • We do not guarantee that every item will be recycled or donated — this depends on condition and local facilities.
  • Our liability for any damages is limited to the amount paid for the specific service or the limits of our insurance, whichever is lower.
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.
No damage claims will be considered until full payment for services has been received.
6. Prohibited Items and Hazardous Materials
We cannot accept certain items, including but not limited to: hazardous waste, chemicals, paint, tires (in some cases), asbestos, medical waste, explosives, or illegal substances. Contact us in advance for clarification. We may charge extra fees or refuse service for difficult-to-handle items.
7. Intellectual Property

8. Website Use and User Conduct
You agree not to use the Site for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its operation, or to submit false information when requesting quotes.
9. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Site or our services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. We will post the updated date at the top of this page.
